RESEARCH
It is imperative that I understand the context for each project. Step two is to familiarize myself with your target audience.DESIGN
Input from the first two phases are compiled into something tangible, a preliminary concept, presented for your review, input and revision.REVISE
Occasionally a client will run with the first draft as presented. More often the draft serves as the foundation for something better. We discuss how the design can be improved until both the client and the designer are happy.
DEVELOP
This phase differs from job to job. If it's a website this is the point where I would code the actual site. If it's a print job, the development phase would involve expanding the intitial design to corollary materials.TEST
I make sure everything works as it should. Vector files are cleaned up, layers are organized, print files are prepared for press, and web sites are put through the wringer.DELIVER / DEPLOY
Finals are approved and everything is working beautifully. I issue your invoice and you receive the finished product. If it's a web site, I can upload the files to your server or provide complete hosting services.
