Website Logos

Pointers For Designing Website Logos

When creating a logo design for a website, certain factors need to be taken care of. Most people tend to ignore the advantages of vectors. These are great appendages that allow resizing of designs to fit into almost anything, be it a banner or a stamp. The best bit is that in all this resizing, the image quality is not compromised. Secondly, it is a mark of amateurism to use several fonts at the same time on a single logo design. It does not impress anyone and on the contrary, harms the professional identity of the website. It is best to stick to one or two fonts. Thirdly, the logo must appeal directly without beating about the bush.

Some people think that by creating a spectacularly obscure design they would impress potential clients. That is not true. Such a design would only confuse and irritate. Similarly, too much clutter would also irritate anybody. The logo must be clean and direct in conveying its message. The font used must be readable and its size should be large enough to allow comfortable visibility. As for inserting pictures, survey has proved that they don’t impact business and since they are not vectors either, it is best to leave them out.
